Cesar Azpilicueta and beautiful moments at Chelsea

On the eve of the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final against Al Hilal, Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta said:  “It is very difficult to attend this tournament. After 10 long years of waiting, you will realize how difficult it is. We lost the final to Corinthians. It felt different at the time. It was my first season at Chelsea.

We attended every arena and it felt easier than the FIFA Club World Cup. You will realize how difficult this tournament is. First of all, you need to be eligible to participate. Chelsea must make the most of every opportunity they get, the first is the match against Al-Hilal. Hopefully a bad experience in the past will do the trick.”

 Azpilicueta focused on the upcoming match.

Alongside Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, Azpilicueta is a defensive star whose contract is about to expire with the Blues. Landing at Stamford Bridge 10 years ago and having spent 457 appearances in a Chelsea shirt, the Spanish captain is rumored to be able to join Barcelona on a free transfer.

Azpilicueta expressed via Goal: “I will not talk about the future. We are only a day away from the semi-final. Of course, when I arrived at Chelsea in the summer of 2012, I did not have children. My children were all born in London and you know my feelings for Chelsea , but I won’t comment on the future.”
