Leicester’s victory made Liverpool miss the opportunity to close to the top of the table Man City. Rodgers was full of praise for his team after they won: “When you keep playing against the two teams we’ve faced, it’s going to be a huge test of mentality as well as mentality. and our physicality.”

“There’s probably no team in the league with better fitness than Liverpool so they had to keep a clean sheet and in the way we played showed our resilience. I’m really speechless because it’s one heroic performance in our scene.”
